Story Advice
Read a letter from your Aunt Alice
Dear Niece,
I was so happy to get your letter that I put down my sewing to answer it at once. You tell me how hard it is not to spend all your wages on new dresses, or dancing instruction, or the drawing class your friends are taking in the evening. But remember, you went to Lowell for two reasons - to help your parents support your brothers and sisters, and to save money so you and your young man can purchase your own farm when you are ready to marry. I cannot help but think you will regret spending your money on fancy things.
Love
