We like to keep our work place clean and attractive. We scrub the floor and clean our looms every Saturday, allowing no waste to collect there. At the boardinghouse in the evenings, several of us are working to make fringed white curtains for the windows. In the fall, when frost threatens, we bring in plants from the boardinghouse and mill yard gardens. Sometimes the windows sills look more like a flower garden than a factory.
